every year around thanksgiving i pull this book back out and try to learn this song before christmas hits::
this year is no different. i've gotten comfortable with the first page.....but thats usually as far as i get, so we'll see. and look at the cheating. 8 years of classical piano lessons as a kid and i never got the hang of reading music. i write it out and play it until its memorized. not a lot of fun for people forced to listen. this is probably my all time favorite holiday song. i love that it popped up in one of my all time favorite movies:: the royal tenenbaums. i'm in love with wes anderson! and excellent news; he's got another film, moon rise kingdom, starting production in 2011. life is good!
