yes, most definitely. case in point::
kai and owen have already had knitting lessons, but this past weekend kai wondered if i could show him the ropes amigurumi style. i started him off on a little tube and let him circle around working in single crochet. he took off running and before i knew it, was sifting through my eye collection and asking how to make a mouth. you can see he scrapped his initial design and went with the ghostly gape. he was super pleased with the outcome and has already started a second one.
