i had this one jotted down in my crafting notebook and rediscovered it over the weekend. guess i wasn't kidding on friday. i don't remember where i originally found it, but its a great and simple idea. perfect for all those little scraps of fabric that are kicking around. all you will need aside from the scraps are: scissors, double sided tape (i used peel n stick fabric fuse), and of course, band-aids::
it is possible to find sheets of the peel n stick, but i could only find the tape. if the same is true for you, just use two strips to cover the back of the band-aid. press the tape on nice and firm and then flip the band-aid over and trim away the excess::
now gently peel off the backing of the peel n stick and firmly press on the fabric. flip it over again and trim, trim, trim::
and there you are::
bella saw the results and decided her scab needed some attention::
ps - don't forget the boys::
just scary enough to get a "cool" from kai and owen. officially approved by the 7 and 9-year-old boy bracket. success!
