there, i think i got it from just about every angle. that tongue is not perfect, and caused a few finger bleeding episodes, but it works. this was supposed to be for owen's birthday. like i said, that tongue set me back. so far back in fact, that owen has not mentioned this previously begged for knit in over a month. so you know what i'm thinking?? that's right, box it up for christmas and stuff it in the attic::
done and done! this pattern is from zoe mellor's book knitted toys. i made mine about 7 stripes longer. it's a great pattern and a great book!
