remember this spot i had been meaning to turn into a lavender patch? well, after a little digging::
and some rock collecting and localized soil ammending::
there it is!
my previously mentioned seedlings were lost to a foraging chipmunk.....so i'm starting again, even though its a tad late in the season. but these plants are doing extremely well and should be more than double in size by the end of the summer (based on what our other lavender plant has done). this is also right next to the beehive, and lavender is one of their favorite flowers, so the girls are going to be happy too!
