we finally took a trip to the best garden shop on earth and, as usual, i went a little overboard. luckily i had a couple of gift certificates to take the edge off! (thanks mom) i found a lot to add to my growing wishlist as well. this place is just always super stocked with loads of great and healthy stuff. and the kids love it because of the koi pond.......they refer to it as "the fishy store" and spend most of their time there searching for food pellets that missed their mark to throw to the fish.

i love the globe allium. it just keeps getting bigger and bigger. bella likes it too. this picture was part of an exploratory progression that started with pointing, proceeded to poking and prodding and finally ended with a strangulation/shaking type move that required some immediate intervention. too funny.
