we had a little extra fruit in the fridge last night, so i decided to get started on the weekend a bit early.
a little simple syrup never hurt anyone......as far as i know::
this was almost too good. i added a splash of sparkling water to jazz it up a bit. it was great with and without that addition though. i did a little research to see if this could still be considered sangria seeing as i used white wine. turns out, this would be referred to as "sangria blanca". sounds nice right? its got a nice ring to it. or maybe thats the sangria blanca talking. one can never tell. where was i? ah, yes, hope you all have a festive weekend. hopefully this time next week there will be another giveaway here instead of a slightly intoxicated blogger. but i'm not making any promises! see you monday.
