and now, back to kicking it off (and by "it", i mean holiday decorations). i know, i know, its still september. but not for long!
we were about 20 minutes into wheel barrowing the chopped wood over to the woodshed yesterday when we decided it was time for a break. "we" being me. (note to self: figure out a way to instill decent work ethic in kids.......without spending too much work at it). for the record: we had made a small dent in the pile and a sweat was threatening to break so.....well deserved! we can finish it tomorrow no problem. i felt some hot chocolate drinking and crafting were a tad more pressing. also, while digging around in the halloween bucket we found these little guys that belong to o and the little big man::
i made these a few years ago from patterns i found on the lion brand website. you have to sign up to view their many, many free patterns (!) but if you type in "halloween" you will find both patterns on page three. i'll need to be perusing that category myself today as bella just realized the numbers aren't adding up right. i prematurely promised her a ghost......off to the pattern hunting!
ps- don't hit spellcheck! i did not misspell "wheel barrow" - apparently i have been repeatedly misunderstanding everyone in my life that has ever used, identified, pointed to, or spoken about a wheel BARREL.
