if there's one thing i've learned from keeping this blog, and thus being able to keep tabs on my crafting habits, its that i need to keep throwing new things into the mix. i tend to get comfortable with a few projects and slip into broken record mode, all the while skimming through my crafting library and drooling over endless patterns that are right at my fingertips. so, when i went looking for something to make for my cute as a button niece, kea, i stopped myself from going with the norm and picked out something a little different::
so far, things are running smoothly. yes, there's been some ripping out, and starting over, and deep breathing here and there, but its looking like it will be a success. and if it is, it should be both cute and appropriate. rumor has it she is hooked on the life series! and thats my only hint!
