this year we traveled for thanksgiving and wound up leaving earlier than expected to avoid a storm. and so, therefore, i was unable to make the coveted pumpkin whoopie pies. luckily there was no shortage of desserts. we had the most wonderful thanksgiving to date. the whoopie pies were missed by the kids though so we got home and i got to it::
